Artesa, meaning "craftsman" is one of the newest additions to the Napa Valley. Starting out back in 1991 as a sparkling wine producing winery, then turning in 1997 to world-class still wines. Their estate wines, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, come from their vineyards in Caneros, however, they don't stop there. Obtaining grapes from many appellations, including their own Napa and Sonoma vineyards, they produce many more varietals including Cabernet, Cabernet Franc, and Pinot Blanc, just to say a few.
