Beringer is one of Napa's earliest wineries, and is the oldest continuously operating winery in the entire Napa valley. As of 2001 the winery location was dedicated as a historic site. Beringer's caves are a rare thing in the valley, but are used today to keep wines at perfect temperatures. The caves can be seen on one of the many tours offered by the winery. Beringer produces several types of wine, Red, White, Blush, and even dessert wines. Their tears are Private Reserve, Knights Valley, Napa Valley, Third Century, Estate, Stone Cellars, and California Collection.
