Two Lads Winery is located on Old Mission Peninsula near Traverse City, Michigan. This 58-acre vineyard of the 2Lads Winery is tended by winemakers Cornel Oliver and Chris Baldyger. This Old Mission peninsula winery boasts a 10,500 square foot state of the art facility designed to allow gravity flow processing of their grapes.

The Two Lads Winery uses this gentle, gravity flow technique to maintain the desirable compounds that form the aromatics, flavors and color that are so delicate in young wines.

White wines such as Chardonnay and Pinot Grigio, the red wines Merlot and Cabernet Franc as well as a Methode Champagnoise Sparkling wine (fermented in French Oak tanks) are produced at this Old Mission peninsula winery.

The winemakers, Cornel Oliver and Chris Baldyger, of the Two Lads Winery both grew up around vineyards and had relatives in the wine industry. This early influence and their natural love of viticulture is the basis behind their winemaking philosophy, wine is made in the vineyard. With that and their guiding hand in the cellar they take the grape variety Cabernet Franc and produce small lots of Cabernet Franc Reserve and Rose’ along with a unique Pinot Grigio and their Sparkling wine, all at their Old Mission peninsula winery.
