Many people recognized the huge potential the Paso Robles Viticultural Appellation had, but among the first was the Martin and Weyrich families.
It all began on April 1st 1981, when the families had a vision and purchased an 83 acre parcel of land on Buena Vista Drive, located in California’s Central Coast Wine Country. They were successful with completing a goal to grow and produce Nebbiolo, and shortly after that the Martin Weyrich Winery began producing Sangiovese, Primativo, Muscat, Pinot Griogio, Chardonnay, and Cabernet Sauvignon. It only took a few short years for the Martin Weyrich Winery to become known as one of the country’s top Italian varietal producers.
