Brander Vineyard located in the Santa Ynez Valley, is one of the original vineyards in the area. Winemaker, and owner Fred Brander moved his family to Santa Barbara from Buenos Aires to start a career in the wine business. After working with many different areas in the field, Fred began to follow his dream of making his own wines. In 1975 Fred and his family established The Brander Vineyard in the Santa Ynez Valley. With a focus on Sauvignon Blanc, Brander Vineyard has been recognized as a top producer in that varietal. Although Sauvignon Blanc is still the focus, Fred also produces some small quantities of red wine.
