Sonoma Valley
Sonoma Valley is the location of four key wine regions - Sonoma Mountain to the south, and the Alexander Valley, Dry Creek and Russian River regions to the north. The best way to experience Sonoma is to devote a day to each region and book a hotel or bed & breakfast in close proximity to allow you to enjoy the wineries at a leisurely pace.
The town of Sonoma is a great location to stay to visit the wineries located near Kenwood, Glen Ellen or Boyes Hot Springs or within Sonoma itself. Sonoma offers great restaurants, shopping, wine tasting rooms and the historic Sonoma Plaza square and Sonoma mission. Sonoma offers an excellent selection of hotels including the Best Western Sonoma Valley Inn, El Dorado Hotel and the Swiss Hotel.
