Since their first vintage in the fall of 1989, Silver Lake Winery started producing 2,000 cases and worked its way up to over 50,000 cases in the past fifteen years. Three professors at the University of Washington started the winery, and today over 1200 wine enthusiasts own Silver Lake Winery making it one of the state’s largest locally owned wineries.

The primary source for Silver Lake Winery is the Roza Hills Vineyard, located in the heart of Rattlesnake Hills AVA.
